Concept wallpaper for Faeladis, the Dark Elf protagonist of the Gheldrynn Chronicles first story: The Forging of Gheldrynn. I wanted to do a more mature-looking version of the elf while using the opportunity to practice shading as a means of accenting the torso anatomy, though there is a moment of the story where he does stand alone, illuminated by the surrounding fireflies - for the first time feeling purified and whole.
